Day 37: An Album a Day Continues - The Atomic Bitchwax Scorpio

After an almost 3 week hiatus, we are back to listening to an album a day. Our vacation time in Montreal was awesome, as always, but the music was missed. You can't take the vinyl with you.

Today we listened to the eighth and final studio album from The Atomic Bitchwax called “Scorpio.” The album was released August 28, 2020 through Tee Pee Records. This 3 piece band from New Jersey crank out rock old style in as mix of 60s psychedelic, 70s riffs, and 21st century fuzz/stoner blend. All 10 tracks on this album are a pleasure to listen to making this album an easy favourite on the replay list. Tracks like Hope You Die, Energy, and Betting Man were stand-out tracks. As we continue to plough through all 58 albums of bands starting with "A" in our collection, many of which of classic rock, it was a great switch to listen to something from this decade. Rock is alive and well in The Atomic Bitchwax. I highly recommend this and any album by this hard rocking trio. See you tomorrow as we continue through the A’s.
