Day 21: An Album A Day - Anvil Forged In Fire

Day 21 of an album a day. The two greatest travesties in Canadian history are the loss of the Avro Arrow and Anvil not getting the recognition and success they deserved. OK, an exaggeration but seriously, Anvil deserved better. “Forged in Fire” was Anvil’s 3rd album released in 1983. Like pretty much all Anvil albums it heavy, fast and very trebly. Listening to Anvil too loud will lead to Advil at this stage of life. Still, they are one of the best speed metal bands ever and it was great to listen to this album again.
