Day 28: An Album A Day - Axe Offering

Day 28 of an album a day. I remember buying this album for the cover at a Tramps in Saskatoon. It was one of the rare times back then when it paid off. I had never heard of Axe at the time but played “Rock and Roll Party in the Streets” over and over. They also do a great cover of Montrose’s “I Got The Fire.”“Offering” was Axe’s third album released in 1982 and their most successful album reaching number 81 on the charts. Hailing from Gainesville, Florida, Axe released a total of 7 studio albums with their last album “Final Offering” being released in 2019.
