Day 33: An Album A Day - All Them Witches Dying Surfer Meets His Maker

Day 33 of an album a day. This is the second album I bought by All Them Witches. It’s called “Dying Surfer Meets His Maker” released in 2015. This is the band’s third studio album. As I mentioned on January 16th, this band is hard to pigeon hole into one music genre. The more I listen to them the more it feels like they’re ploughing their own path to something truly unique, built on the back of 60s psychedelia, 2000s stoner rock, and a touch of blues. You can almost catch a buzz just listening to All Them Witches. It’s very hypnotic. They are currently touring with King Buffalo and will be playing The Vogue in Vancouver on February 23rd. I’m certain this would be a Hell of an event to go see! Super-trippy music that mellows you out.
