Day 34: An Album A Day - Angel City Night Attack

Day 34 of an album a day. I love this album. My favourite Angel City release. “Night Attack” was Angel City’s 5th album released in 1982 in North America. While it didn’t chart well in our market, it reached #11 in Australia and still ranks as a fan favourite in their homeland. I remember buying this cassette at Fred’s in Gull Lake solely for the album cover. Again, I was not disappointed. It’s not a guarantee of great music but album art mattered back in the day before one could preview the music. Tanya thinks they sound a bit like British punk. I lean a little more towards Bon Scott’s AC/DC or Rose Tattoo. Regardless, it’s all good. There are no weak songs.
