Day 35: An Album a Day - Ape Machine Coalition of the Unwilling

Day 35 of an album a day. Today is a short one. A 6 song EP by Ape Machine titled “Coalition of the Unwilling” released in 2016. If you like early 70s hard rock infused with 21st century fuzz ala Queens of the Stonr Age, you’ll love this album. There’s an awesome cover of Johnny Winter’s “Frankenstein” called Ape’N’Stein (its really effin great imo) and the last track on side two called “Never My Way” could easily be confused with Led Zeppelin’s “Dazed and Confused.” This is another “all tracks great” release, which makes it so enjoyable to sit down and listen to the entire album. There’s recording quality is A+. Enjoy if you can.
